Hmm.. I suppose that "Death before dishonor" would be "shi sen fumeiyo"... although I'm not positive (I don't exactly use the words "death" or "dishonor" very often.

To pronounce Japanese words is easy. Every vowel gets pronounced (for example, 'made' is pronounced "mah-day"). A is pronounced "ah", E is pronounced "eh", I is pronounced 'iy', O is pronounced 'oh', and U is pronounced 'ew'. The only hard character for english speakers is 'R' (which luckily is absent here); it is pronounced halfway between an L and an R. Also, some times sylables are pronounced rather quickly so that they aren't that noticable - for example, watakushi ('I', polite) is pronounced like "watakshi")
