Why were so many of our best; elite Navy Seals loaded on a cumbersome chopper?
Cause they needed to move alot of people from point A to point B.

Was their Commander In Chief concerned at all about their whereabouts and their welfare, or was he more aware and involved than one could imagine?
Do you really think Obama is directing who rides on which helicopter? Was it Bush's fault when Chinooks were used to deploy SEALS in the battle of Robert's Ridge? Pull your head out of your ass Buz the air is much fresher.

No the Battle of Robert's ridge involved three Chinooks and was a rescue operation after a big cumbersome Chinook was hit by an RPG and Petty Officer First Class Neil C. Roberts fell out. 2 big cumbersome chinooks were damaged and crashed and another experienced engine failure. Answer the question:

The question remains, why so many from the unit, so soon after the Bin Laden killing, 23 of which were involved in the death of BinLadden.
Buz please provide evidence that President Obama ordered that those SEALs were to be transported on that aircraft.

Only 7 Seals were at risk in the well planned Roberts Ridge operation being aluded to.
Well planned? It was a quickly deployed rescue operation after an insertion of a recce team went wrong. And do the 20 US Army Rangers also deployed in chinooks not count? Is Bush to blame for deploying elite forces into battle in chinooks?

That question needs to be answered and how far up the chain of command it went
