Looked at the Einstein photo example - What you are supplying as the image URL is actually the URL of the page containing the photo.
You have this URL:File:Einstein 1921 portrait2.jpg - Wikipedia You need this URL:Wikimedia Error Then enclose the 2nd URL in [img][/img]. Which gets you:
Or the thumbnail version is:

How does it feel to be dumber than a moose? I feel kind of dirty. But I find that I like it.

Moose,
Maybe you can help me. Some months agoI bought some new virus software for my home PC. I installed it and ran it and since then pictures do not show up on my screen. I get a blank page with a small square in the upper left cornor. Right clicking on that square one of the options is "show picture" but it's not lit up so now I can't see pictures. Any ideas on fixing this. Thanks petrophysics

Seriously though - have you looked through all the anti-virus software's options? Can you also post the name of the anti-virus software? It might help.Always remember: QUIDQUID LATINE DICTUM SIT ALTUM VIDITUR Science flies you into space; religion flies you into buildings.

How do I align the image to the left and also adjust the size to what I want?
something like or what?
where ### is the size I want... If you know off the top of your head, how do I resize images in html using this coding...
< img src="address"/> is there, like, a 'size=###' code or something I can add in? Where would that go?

I didn't realize it was changing the aspect ratio that you were interested in. It would be easy to do option 2, but why? Is there any demand? The neat thing about specifying only width is that it maintains aspect ratio.
A question. If the image is 500x300 but you specify 100x100, when you click on the magnifying glass cursor does the image go to it's normal 500x300, or does it maintain aspect ratio and go to 500x500, or maybe 300x300? --Percy
