Ah, well let me explain my view on this beliefe.
I believe that it is false for many reasons that i will share.
1) LET'S KEEP THINGS IN FOCUS: Because the eye is a certain size, the lens is made to work with that size, and the len's focus is variable and controllable by the vision part of our brain which allows us to see near and far and in focus. Now if just one of these things is off just a little we have to compensate by wearing a corrective lens or have corrective eye surgery.
2)IT'S UNIQUE: seeing how the brain has a special section just for sight I find it hard to believe that the human eye came from a freckle.
3)EVER TRY TO SEE THROUGHT FOG?:Then we have vitreous which is a clear fluid that the eye is full of that the light or image passes throught to project onto the back of the eye. What if the fluid were not clear? It would be like seeing throught fog or not being able to see at all. This is what happens to a diabetic person when they start to lose their sight. The tiny blood vessles in the back of the eye rupture and bleed just a little. But this small amount of blood is enought to mess up vision.
5)Then we have the six muscles that control the movement of the eye. These are placed in specific places so that we would have complete control over this.If we did not have these six muscles that are placed in specific places we mould not be able to see every thing that we can.
6) then we have what is called Real Time processing.without this any thing that reqquires split second thinking would be Effected.Think of all the accidents that would happen without this.
NOTE: Our reaaction to what we see is already slowed up by how fast the commands from the brain get to our muscles. It takes .5 seconds for a male humen to react and .4 to .3 for a female.
