Portillo writes: Quotes are fine - but you need to have understood them in context. Alright I wont use quotes anymore.e.g. If I was to claim that you thought that Judaism is the only correct religion because you stated in Message 17 that "The Jewish nation in the old testament is a perfect example." then you would be correct to point out that I had misunderstood and quote-mined what you were saying. Quote-mining is wrong: it is lying.Unfortunately web-sites like AnswerInGenesis and The Institute for Creation Research repeatedly use them. This means that whenever they claim that "a scientist" said something - you cannot take their word for it. You need to check it is true. When they knowingly make false claims on their web-site, it tars honest believers with the same brush. Every time you use their quote-mines you are supporting their lies - you are not supporting God.God doesn't need lies. Edited by Panda, : No reason given. Portillo writes: When the floods started, the geysers shot water 20 miles up, which then exploded and came back down as ice-rain. The only way a 15,000 pound elephant could be frozen that quick and preserve what is in its stomach, is to be frozen in a freezer that is 150 degrees below zero. Where on earth do we find a freezer like that? At the climatic moment, when the surface of the earth was ruptured and the fountains of the deep broke loose and the Genesis flood occured. Geysers of super heated water went 20 miles up into the air, exploded and came down as ice onto the earth. Why do you think that ice-rain was able to rapidly freeze mammoths? If I were you And I wish that I were you All the things I'd do To make myself turn blue

Whyn not ask for a wiki description also?Jar has posted the same questions several times and that is all you have managed to provide so far. That took a fantastically long time for you to finally admit that you don't know. I expect it will take a further 50 posts of your bullshit before you finally respond to all the other questions with the same answer. If I were you And I wish that I were you All the things I'd do To make myself turn blue

And yet - 15 more of your bullshit posts and you haven't either supplied a location for Mount Ararat or answered any of Jar's other questions. Panda writes:
There has never been confusion of the region's vicinity any place, including in all scholarly appraisals, and the text adequately confirms it. I expect it will take a further 50 posts of your bullshit before you finally respond to all the other questions with the same answer. Your responses are as pointless and stupid as being asked "What is the time?" and replying with: "My watch is accurate!" and "My watch knows the answer!".At no point have you even bothered to try and answer the questions. So - where is Mount Ararat? If you know where it is, then just point to it on a map. If you can't point to it on a map - then you don't know where it is. IamJoseph writes: *looks for a map location* You are exaggerating. I absolutely provided precise and irrefutable historical and geographical proof of the arc's landing location, in a manner which is not open to confusion. To the extent I was asked to provide longtitude and latitudes of an ancient event - in case you were absent from this forum at the time. My summary conclusion is all charges are negated except one called denial.*sees only word salad* *concludes that IamJ doesn't know where Mount Ararat is* If I were you And I wish that I were you All the things I'd do To make myself turn blue

IamJoseph writes: *looks for a map location* Does Mr. Admin/Monitor Esq even understand I have three times provided 'MAP' pointers of Noah's location from the text itself, with no personal input or improvisation? Do you? Did you even read the part in my posts quoting verse references that Noah's arc landed in the Ararat mountains, and that the surrounding countires are Ninveh, Egypt, Canaan and Babylon. Would you like me to draw those countries in a map with longtitude and latitude to satisfy jokers and clowns - would it help?*sees only more word salad* *concludes that IamJ definitely doesn't know where Mount Ararat is* If I were you And I wish that I were you All the things I'd do To make myself turn blue

Ok - let's work this out ...
First question:How long does it take for a fossil to form? Second question:What is the minimum age of a fossil? Third question:How recently could a fossilised animal have lived? Have a go at answering and then we can look at your questions again if the answers have not become apparent. You are NOT here for a debate - friendly or otherwise. Im just here to have friendly debate. You have ignored all the friendly and polite answers to your questions, and instead reply to just the snarky ones. This simply makes you look like a troll. What exactly isn't easy?
Do you have any idea what its like to be at this forum, surrounded by thousands of evolutionists? Its not easy you know. Message 333 You asked:
Why arent fossils being formed anywhere in the world today? On land or water. If the fossil record is the record of life, why isnt the record continuing? There were 5 replies to that message.3 of those replies were polite and the other 2 were also polite, but showed an 'undertone' of frustration with you. But you did not post a single reply to any of those messages. You ignored them and instead posted replies to 4 snarky messages. So what is it that you are finding difficult?Because currently it looks like the only thing that is 'not easy' for you is debating the subject. You clearly have no problem finding the time to reply - but you appear unable to actually debate or support your claims.

You also have no intention of debating else you would have ignored the snarky posts and instead addressed the polite ones. I have no intention of living in this forum. If I were you And I wish that I were you All the things I'd do To make myself turn blue

I would hope that it was obvious why fewer fossils are being produced in the present (1 year) than in the past (500 million years).
I made a mistake to say that NO fossils are being formed in the present. Certainly not in the millions like in the past. Portillo writes:
It would help if you could tell us how many fossils do you think were produced in the past and how many are being produced now. Why arent fossils being formed as much as in the past?
