An Argument For Being Born Gay

Since this beast has been resurrected, I suppose I can chime in. I wasn't a member when the thread was started. I remember being in second grade. There were two girls who I hung out with exclusively.The things we would talk about... some grown folk don't even discuss.Not that we had a clue in hell what we were saying; but we liked saying it nonetheless.The point is: I may have been exhibiting the precursors to what would be my adult-aged heterosexuality, but I would be lying if I said that I 'knew' what any of it meant at the time. I didn't 'know' I was straight, but I didn't know what 'straight' was.I think the same could be said of folk who claim they 'knew' they were gay. It's just not likely that they actually did, and it is rather time for folk to admit that growing up is what it is.Jon

That was rather the point of my example: I just don't think kids so young really understand what is going on at all. It has nothing to do with being gay or straight; it has everything to do with being only five years old.Jon
