I'm sorry but if Buz got suspended for his posts (which he shouldn't have been) then surley Theodoric should be suspended for this Message 190If he's not suspended for this but Buz was for his(?) there's a problem.BTW, Theodorics comments were in a non-evidence thread also.(ABE after nwr's post for not wanting to make another entire post and some spelling) I don't think Theodore should be banned for his comment. I'm just drawing similarities in their posts and wondering why Buz is suspended and he's not. Buz ignored some moderator warning messages that immediately preceded his post. I don't see the comparison with Theodoric.I'm not saying that I support the suspension. I'm just disagreeing with your comparison and refraining from second guessing the moderation.

I was a bit surprised to see the suspension, in part because Buzsaw's response was at least as on topic as my message to which Buz responded.I am still unclear about what discussion AdminPD believes should not have continued. I thought pretty carefully about exactly that question before I decided that PD's warning did not apply to Buzsaw's, original, fairly ridiculous message. In hindsight I realize that responding to any of the Buz's messages is counterproductive. I'll avoid that mistake in the future.By the way, the most productive, least troublesome, most civic minded, and respected people on earth are U.S. Naval Academy alumni and alumnae.

Sorry but suspending Buz was just plain wrong. And the idea that short messages are to be discouraged is equally stupid.

Please clearly explain why I should be suspended other than your obvious and continuing animosity toward me.

Just a thoughty but I think the reaction, particularly to NoNukes post was a tad OTT. He was responding to ths comment by Chuck.

I think his response was reasonable and made the point that he should be able to use quotes from other threads.I realize that you didn't want just one sentence answers that wouldn't move the discussion forward but in the case the response only required one sentence and it moved the discussion forward as it dealt with what could be brought into the discussion.I know this admin thing can be a thankless task and thanks so much for being willing to do it.Cheers

Just because Moose has a hardon for Hooah doesn't mean he should be able to give out bullshit suspensions like this.If the op wasn't worth of the suspension why the hell was the follow up?This is just crazy.

A weeks suspension - and being called a troll - simply for his choice of words ? (Words which aren't even that bad and are directed at himself rather than others ?) That is literally insane.

Moose has lost it and is bringing the board into disrepute. His own unprovoked and outrageous insult directed at hooah is the only action worthy of a ban. As it happens, I have been waiting for that thread to be approved as it is interesting and relevant to my own experience.
