Yes and other reasons.
Go away.
If you want a chat room check out IRC. This thread is a waste of the board.

Chuckie makes my point
Theo, you there?
This is the kind of crap I was talking about in my original comment.
I really do not think that inane posts like this is what Percy envisions for this site.

Detecting Sarcasm was never your strong point ehe Theo?
Theo, so do you like Meatloaf better or Lasagna? So you never mentioned what's up for the weekend, come on man. Or your favorite color.

Do you know how much oil the US buys from Iran?
From Page Not Found

Fifty-six percent of Iran’s oil exports are to
Asia and 29 percent to Europe. Japan and the
People’s Republic of China (PRC) together
buy over one-third of Iran’s oil exports. The
U.S. buys no oil from Iran (other than
specially licensed swaps for Caspian oil).
jar writes:
What does a nuclear Iran have to do with oil?
Are you really that simple jar?
jar writes:
It really sounds more like "the US better watch its step".
From the Yale Journal
quote:
The following facts about Iran are largely beyond dispute. It is outspent militarily by three of its closest neighbors, including Israel, Turkey, and Saudi Arabia. Its only friends in the Middle East are a few terrorist groups and Syria, a nation beset with domestic furor. It has extraordinarily hostile relations with the United States, and only relatively polite relations with Russia and China. Iran’s existing conventional military forces are obsolete by regional standards. The country suffers from substantial domestic discontent and has undergone serial crises of governance structure since at least the late 1980s. Iran is heavily dependent on resource exports, inextricably and directly linking its economy to the international market and inviting all of the problems normally associated with the resource curse.
I think you are supporting the wrong side jar. Do you hate everything about your country?

Since they both wear the heavy armor, the defense increase from the Vanguard's defense abilities would be somewhat marginal
Normally, when questing, you would use a companion that compliments your class choice.
If you choose a Commando then you would use your tanking companion (and the reverse if a Vanguard).
(Or you could DPS as either Commando or Vanguard with a healer companion - but this is not so good with boss mobs.)
Your class choice only really matters if you are doing instances and you don't want to DPS.
There is normally a companion to compliment your play style.

Re: SWTOR
The specs that CS listed in Message 98 are what my current PC has and the game runs a bit sluggish, but fine for normal questing/levelling.
But I have had to stop running instances until my new PC arrives as my current spec is not good enough for tanking when lots of stuff is happening.

Re: Iran best watch its step
So we buy no oil from Iran.
In fact we get only about 15% of our oil from the whole Middle East.
As you point out, Iran is broke, internally in turmoil, out spent militarily by its neighbors including Israel.
So tell me how Iran is a threat to the US and what a nuclear Iran has to do with oil?

Anyone so limited that they can only spell a word one way is severely handicapped!

Re: Iran best watch its step
What you quoted from Yale Journal indicates that Iran is no threat. So there's no point in getting in a tizzy about it.

Personally, I support sanity over insanity. And, as far as I can tell, that's the side jar is supporting.
