Question Evolution (Part 2)

The (other) PNT will not get promoted the way it is set up. Nor do I think the person proposing it want's a discussion. So I'll propose it since i'm familiar with it.I would not be promoting this here if it wasn't already brought up in another PNT post but feel people would be interested in atleast discussing/debating the 15 questions. Here they are:1.How did life with specifications for hundreds of proteins originate just by chemistry without intelligent design?2.How did the DNA code originate?3.How could copying errors (mutations) create 3 billion letters of DNA instructions to change a microbe into a microbiologist?4.Why is natural selection taught as ‘evolution’ as if it explains the origin of the diversity of life?5.How did new biochemical pathways, which involve multiple enzymes working together in sequence, originate?6.Living things look like they were designed, so how do evolutionists know that they were not designed?7.How did multi-cellular life originate?8.How did sex originate?9.Why are the (expected) countless millions of transitional fossils missing?10.How do ‘living fossils’ remain unchanged over supposed hundreds of millions of years?11.How did blind chemistry create mind/intelligence, meaning, altruism and morality?12.Why is evolutionary ‘just-so’ story-telling tolerated as ‘science’?13.Where are the scientific breakthroughs due to evolution?14.Why is evolution, a theory about history, taught as if it is the same as the operational science?15.Why is a fundamentally religious idea, a dogmatic belief system that fails to explain the evidence, taught in science classes?Question evolution - creation.comAlso, at the present time in not sure if they revised or added or subtracted any of the questions. If they did (and i'll check) i'll add or edit it to the OP or a new single post of it on the thread if promoted.Also, I would like Buz to be able to participate in this thread. So if he can get temporary access to the Science section that would be good or put it in the Coffee house. My initial thought is: Creation/Evolution Miscellany but if Buz isn't allowed then somewhere other than the Science section.If Buz can't participate then don't promote it. He's a member here like everyone else and should be able to paticipate just like the rest of us. Thanks.

Hi Chuck,The questions cover at least 5 different topic areas, and normally we wouldn't promote such a thread. If you'd like to discuss any specific question or set of related questions then please propose it as a separate thread.The comments in the Topic Proposal Issues thread indicate that some of the evolutionists have a somewhat different take on Jimmy's questions, feeling that it says much more about the creationist approach to science than it does about evolution. I can see promoting this as a thread to discuss this example of this type of approach, let me know if you're interested.Buz knows what he has to do to regain admittance to the science forums. Until we can be sure he won't turn every science thread he joins into a discussion of the nature of evidence, the science forums are off limits for him.

No need really. That thread that's in the Coffee House is fine. I was just trying to help the original PNT concerning "question evolution" along. If I knew it was going to be promoted I wouldn't have made up this one.
