Change in Moderation?

Thanks for the quick closure of booboocruise's latest thread. That kind of firm but fair administration is what makes this forum better than most.LOL, without it I might have jumped at his bait again.

To Adminomoosue:
The aversion to /*DNAUnion*/ seems a bit of an over reaction to me. I would agree that it might be easier for us all to read if everyone followed a very standard format. But it just isn't a big enough deal. If I find it annoying or hard to read I just don't have to bother with the posts.I already do this with almost all of Brad's posts. They are too hard to read so I don't bother. I don't suggest suspending him because I don't like the way they are written.Leave the format or readability of posts up to a selection process. If it is bad enough people will stop reading them.

I may have missed the point. I thought that the admin was objecting (and suggesting suspension) over the /**/ labeling alone.

Crash, you worry about it too much. It's not life or death. Most of us have a pretty high opinion of you no matter what DU declares.The only really important thing that any one can do here is give someone enough information to make up their own mind. We might, once in awhile, be able to counter the falsehoods propagated by the likes of ICR. Very few of our visitors here are likely to "get it" but one or two, here and there, might.As for all the others. Ignore 'em.
