Comprehension is not one of your strengths, is it? Some things remain unknown, beyond our scope of understanding. However, Creationists will be more accepting of this than the science communityTradition and heritage are all dead people's baggage. Stop carrying it!

But in most other senses he is wrong.
Well, in one sense, bb is accurate. subbie writes:
But they do require that criteria. Creos are considerably more accepting of things they don't know, and quite willing to let those unknowns remain unknown, particularly when they might not like the answers.Their acceptance of unknowns is intrinsically tied to (and limited by) their beliefs: it is dogma. subbie writes:
True, scientists will want to 'fix' unknowns by finding the answers. Scientists, on the other hand, are willing to acknowledge what they don't know, but then set about finding out the answers. But they don't deny that they exist. Tradition and heritage are all dead people's baggage. Stop carrying it!

Following on from Catholic Scientist's comment: you don't need to reply to all comments - particularly if it is just a single sentence reply.
This post is a good example - all it really needs is an acknowledgement. This acknowledgement can be made by simply clicking the sentence You have not yet responded and it will change to You have acknowledged this reply This sentence will be at the bottom of my post. Hopefully this is useful to you.Tradition and heritage are all dead people's baggage. Stop carrying it!

I would have to look at it to know.
What does supernatural look like? jar writes:
In the same way that anything identified is different to "unknown".
How it supernatural different than "unknown"? jar writes:

Your response is too funny. There was no answer, just word salad. No, really too funny. Really, really, really funny. Actually, no - it's bollocks. jar writes:
I was not saying anything about the way something is identified as supernatural. If you are saying that the way something is identified as supernatural is by someone claiming it is supernatural, then that is so open that it is meaningless, useless and worthless.I was describing how we could study the supernatural. I supplied enough information to answer your question. But you still offer no information. If you want a different answer then you need to ask a different question. jar writes:
I don't know. but what tests would show that it really was supernatural?I would have to study it to find out. Tradition and heritage are all dead people's baggage. Stop carrying it!

No. Because science can investigate anything which is real and detectable can't it?Jar is clearly stating that if a leprechaun was standing in front of us, then we would not be able to photograph, weigh, measure, x-ray ... or any of the other 1000's of scientific tests available. Do forget: jar thinks that 'study', 'identify' and 'explain' are all synonyms.
This will make any discussion an up-hill struggle through jar's equivocation. Good luck with that.Tradition and heritage are all dead people's baggage. Stop carrying it!

Great.
Another nutter that has replaced their ability to write with the ability to make up complete shite. Sheesh. You can't even count to 6."1...2...A...5...6" Sid Williams writes:

I am not convinced he is 'typical' (although he is far from being unique). You seem to be a typical bible-quoting creo. The weirdly formatted semi-biblical illiterate nonsense reminds me of CrazyDiamond7's posts. They appear to be obsessed with brackets. e.g. "This is the history of the heavens [always plural because of day (sun) and night (moon)]" I think I would categorise them as 'not on this planet' - only a couple of steps away from being sectioned like Dennis Markuze. Well, the first example of your stupidity is that very reply: Ok, Mr/Ms Panda, how about you do the EvC thing and cite three or four examples of Buzsaw stupidity in the Science Fora. You have 8+ years to cherry pick them from. quote:I said you were banned from the science forums for stupidity. It is stupid of you to think that I need to provide more than the stupidity that you were banned for. And here is the actual stupidity that you got banned for:
Admin writes: The history is that this is the second time Buzsaw has been asked to cease his participation in the science forums. After the first time Buzsaw requested readmission, stating that he now understood he needed to provide evidence, so I granted the request. But the result was that Buzsaw merely began using the word "evidence" a lot without actually producing any evidence that supported his positions. The third piece of stupidity you are guilty of is not knowing why you were banned. And lastly, the fourth example of your stupidity will be your response to this message.Tradition and heritage are all dead people's baggage. Stop carrying it!
