Automatic Signature Removal

There does exist a feature that might help you, though it is more of a meat cleaver than the scalpel you suggest. On your Member CP page you can check "Do not display signatures" on the "Signature Display" line.There's a "max sig length" setting on the board's control panel, but it is currently disabled because it needs to be improved. It only checks the number of characters in the member's signature instead of the number of characters generated by the codes in the member's signature. For example, [fid=1] is only 7 characters, but it becomes 33 characters once rendered as The Bible: Accuracy and Inerrancy. I don't know when I'll get around to fixing this.
