Mainly it is because they are extremely biased, dishonest, and untrustworthy. They are Authoritarians, who are against liberty and states rights. Have you not been on this board for years? The evidence of this is everywhere. This is just another case of these unethical liars around here misrepresenting things and regurgitating the liberal kool-aid they drink every day.

Big Government would be using the government to indoctrinate children into specific theologies. That is what we are speaking against. and that is not what this is, no matter how much to want to spin it that way. TN is not big government.

It is a major violation of our rights. Do you live in Tennessee? I don't, this affects my rights not in the slightest.

I live in the United States. Me too (I live in Virginia). so please explain how a law in TN affects OUR (mine and your) rights in other states/commonwealths; I responded because you insinuated that this was affecting everyone, that this is big government, and somehow we in states outside of TN should be alarmed at how some insignificant law in TN is reducing our rights?
Give it time. oh it is some slippery slope argument? as in "this law is not really a monkey law" but if you are paranoid enough you can "read between the lines" and just wait the next one will be, because "nothing good comes from the south". wow finally an on topic discussion, in a thread that has to do with the OP. those trolls (Stubby and Asspanda) are quite tiring.
A violation of any American's rights should concern every American. I disagree but ok. why should it concern me that people in NYC are denied their 2nd amendment rights?
Every American should worry when Big Government uses legislation to try and work around Constitutional rights. That is exactly the intent of this law. Has been from the very beginning. The motivation of this law was NOT to improve the education of children, but to give teachers the ability to use creationist arguments in science class against theories that religious people find threatening. oddly none of that is stated in the law. don't be like stubby you are 10X the poster that he is.
Nope. Just saying that a court case can not be brought against the state until constitutional rights are actually violated. In my experience, it is only a matter of time before a science teacher uses this law to teach creationist arguments in science class. really!?! according to you guys a scientist would NEVER teach religion.

Are all high school science teachers scientists where you come from? In what respect? Do they all have PhD's? Are they all performing ongoing research? in your opinion is that what is required to "be a scientist"? I wonder if Catholic Scientist has a PHD? if not does that mean he is not really a scientist?

But I do wear a lab coat and work in a lab (we were going to publish one of research projects but never got around to it). We're just in it to make money tho, whatever we gotta do to sell more of our shit, ya know? Too, a lot of the data we gather is just for technical purposes - supporting data for product claims n'stuff. HOLY FUCKING SHIT!?! an answer to a simple question. I was simply asking a question to define what a scientist is, but this Scott babbles on and one about who knows what. Thanks American for answering a question instead of getting all defensive and talking a ton of shit.
