Fyi, I jeered you because, after making an extremely sensible and rational post about geology - for which I added a cheer - you slipped back into irrational nonsensical mode and made a nonsense post about god which undermined it.You're conflicted, but perhaps your earlier post shows that there's hope and if you keep using the rational side of your mind you'll come to terms with yourself and cease being so angry at the world.

I think it would be a shame if you didn't return.My advice would be to take a few days off, then re-read this thread as though you were a spectator rather than a contributer and try to think impartially about the two sides of the argument. (Ignore the rants, sarcasm and taunts and concentrate on the arguments.)You have shown that you are capable of intelligent, rational thought and you've also shown us an highly frustrated, angry and irrational side of yourself. If you keep talking and reading, you'll eventually find a resolution on one side of the argument or the other and maybe be able to control your conflicts without screaming at everybody.At the moment you're torn between two contradictory positions - if you keep your head you'll be able to resolve it.Edited by Tangle, : No reason given.

In the original post we have these two sentences. This is the problem that is torturing Foreveryoung. He knows that if today's reality is also yesterday's reality, his beliefs are forfeit.My belief is that he knows that today's realities are true and that his creationist beliefs are false. Once he comes to terms with that he will stop hurting himself.
