Flood geology
Regarding the Flood Geology thread: fossils and dating are essential to this discussion. Certainly they can be treated in limited detail, but to try to eliminate either would be inappropriate.
Fossils are index markers for both time and for paleoclimates. And there is no way to do worldwide geology without at least relative dating.
But when someone makes a claim that the flood was 250 million years ago, instead of 4,350 years ago, certainly fossils and dating become key issues.
