Humor: "If atheism is a belief then ..."

In various forums where fundamentalist Christians face (or think they're facing) atheists, one of them will inevitably say, "atheism is a belief", to which atheists sometimes respond with, "If atheism is a belief then not collecting stamps is a hobby" or "...bald is a hair color."I got a good chuckle out of these the first times I heard them. So I searched for more, and solicited other forum-goers for suggestions, and I tried to come up with some of my own. I built this list (below). I'd like to see what punch lines you all can come up with. If you have new ones, or can suggest revisions to ones in the list, or think ones should be struck from the list, please respond.Not collecting stamps is a hobby.

Quite right, Dr. A. However, I hear "atheism is a belief" asserted much more often than "atheism is a religion". Don't you? I understand that it can be and is a belief for some people. But it doesn't seem that folks who say "atheism is a belief/religion" see any distinction: "Those atheists are all the same."I think they're usually sincere in this opinion (except for some trolls who are just trying to get a rise). I think it's hard for them to imagine living life without supernatural beliefs influencing most or all aspects of it.

The evidence that I exist is pretty solid, at least compared to the evidence for Him. Some people certainly do deify themselves. Personally, I see it much more in believers than non-believers.

This punchline is nice because it could be adapted to the culture of the person who says "atheism is a belief/religion". If it's a Londoner, you could say, "...then not playing football is a sport", but if it's a Chicagoan, you could say, "...then not playing football is a sport".

True. I just threw it in for my own satisfaction.

Or "...loafing is an act of terrorism"

One might also say "... unemployment is a career path."

I suppose that would hold true for many of the arts, not just comedy. Does anyone do stand up tragedy?
