In the UK we've had no summer. All we have had is rain and more rain. Which is completely consistent with the science showing we are experiencing global climate change.Facts don't lie or have an agenda. Facts are just facts "God did it" is not an argument. It is an excuse for intellectual laziness.

Yes it is worrisome. Yesterday there was a report on the news that the US has already broken over 40k heat records. That is unprecedented.

A mammoth snow front is not what would be unexpected with global warming. Warmer oceans allow for more moisture to be getting up by the atmosphere, which will cause higher precipitation some areas. Remember, global warming is a TREND. .. and well Colorado DOES have a winter.

...or if you look at the Antarctic. The height of the snow in the interior is increasing because the melting ice shelves are dropping huge amounts of ice in the sea water, which lowers the water temperatures and the wind currents passing over this makes the weather systems pick up more moisture and forms clouds over the central portion, resulting in more snow. Deniers only refer to the increased snow height without understanding the mechanism.

Deniers only refer to the increased snow height without understanding the mechanism. Biblically, it will be accompanied by severe drought and heat which will burn up most of the grass and a third of the trees. The rivers will be dried up etc. We are seeing this beginning to happen. It will relitively rapidly progress. Thankfully we have a gravity spring from a large hill which has numerous springs seeping from it. However that could begin decreasing. if they understood the mechanism, they wouldn't be deniers. One of the points in the denying of any scientific idiom, is the total lack of knowledge of what the idiom entails.

Yes, I can hear the head priest of the several thousand settlers landed in Virginia in the early 1600s preaching exactly the same thing. But then fornication and masterbation were probably what god was punishing them for. They all died of famine when their crops failed during the biggest drought for the previous 500 years. (As recorded by tree rings) And so it goes... Isn't it time you started looking at reality and applied some perspective and thought? You could try forming your ideas from fact rather than trying to jemmy biblical anecdote to fit into your mind's world. This graph spans some 450k yrs. Shouldn't we be much more concerned about adaptation as opposed to control? I am not saying that we should ignore our part in the equation but that we should realize that it is likely not the most important part.
I mean shouldn't we be building desalination plants and water pipelines instead of refineries and oil pipelines? There just doesn't seem to be much effort at all with regard to adapting to climate change.

There is no effort going into even planning for the changes that will be needed that I am aware of.
Consider agriculture, an industry that is simply dependent on weather conditions and where many critical factors needed for success are totally beyond our current control. Will coming changes necessitate changes in what is grown or where basic staples are grown? Are we building the infrastructure that will be needed to get water where it can be used from where it can be found? What is the lead time to build a new dam or pipelines?Anyone so limited that they can only spell a word one way is severely handicapped!

There is no effort going into even planning for the changes that will be needed that I am aware of. North Carolina state legislature recently proposed a law to make it illegal to plan for rising in sea level in the coastal areas due to global warming. Three guesses what party this group of deniers belongs to. (First wrong guess doesn't count).Under a government which imprisons any unjustly, the true place for a just man is also in prison. It looks like the first four reports of the IPCC could be totally fraudulent. Politicians and media celebrities all told us that the IPCC reports were science and not politics. It turns out they were wrong.
On June 27th, the IPCC said they were now implementing the policies recommended in a report by the Inter Academy Council. The IAC is a group created by the World's Science Academies to provide advice to world governing bodies. Although the IPCC said they were NOW adhering to these policy recommendations, what is startling is what the recommendations tell us about the first four IPCC reports that were supposedly solid science and not political.
The IAC reported that IPCC lead authors fail to give "due consideration ... to properly documented alternative views" (p. 20), fail to "provide detailed written responses to the most significant review issues identified by the Review Editors" (p. 21), and are not "consider[ing] review comments carefully and document[ing] their responses" (p. 22). In plain English: the IPCC reports are not peer-reviewed. The IAC found that "the IPCC has no formal process or criteria for selecting authors" and "the selection criteria seemed arbitrary to many respondents" (p. 18). Government officials appoint scientists from their countries and "do not always nominate the best scientists from among those who volunteer, either because they do not know who these scientists are or because political considerations are given more weight than scientific qualifications" (p. 18). In other words: authors are selected from a "club" of scientists and nonscientists who agree with the alarmist perspective favored by politicians. It looks like the first four reports of the IPCC could be totally fraudulent. I'm going to allow others to do their research on the general credibility of "American Thinker" on this issue. The IPCC report does contain some errors and flaws, but the criticisms of the report do not extend to making the report "fraudulent". But let's first remember that the IPCC does not do any original scientific research. Among the scientists that actually do the research, there is an obvious consensus. If you, understandably, don't want to listen to politicians and celebrities, there is plenty of science available. The consensus seems to be that the IPCC report underestimates a number of dire predictions. For example, the scientific consensus is that the IPCC report underestimates the rate of reduction of artic ice. "Artic melt worse than predictions"Arctic melt worse than predictions - CNN.com The scientific consensus is that the IPCC report underestimates the contribution to rising sea levels from the melting of Greenland and North American ice sheets. The IPCC did make a mistake in predicting the rate of receding of Himalayan Glaciers, but let's not overblow that error into a complete denunciation of the IPCC report. Is the quote below anything other than denier's rhethoric? The truth is that the "club" of scientists, blanketly called "alarmist" by American Thinker, consists of essential every scientist that doesn't have a vested interest in burning coal and petroleum.
