But that's not why they're pissed. He's a Nobel Peace Prize recipient and is every bit the warlord GWB was. Certainly the number of wars that they've started are within an order of magnitude, so your calculation is roughly accurate.

I'm curious, how are Romney's diplomatic fuck-ups on his London trip playing in the US? Are they getting air time? Are Republicans embarrassed by his ineptitude?

That's because a large amount of democrats expected miracles.
Miracles, or just owning up to the campaign promises? Don't write checks your butt can't cash, as they say.
quote: Thank God, because of the '10 House Republican victory, that he has not yet totally wrecked America by doing so.
But that's not why they're pissed. He's a Nobel Peace Prize recipient and is every bit the warlord GWB was. Pray tell, Hyroglyphx, what did he (I say "he") do to win that prize?
Hyrophlyx writes: I watch a lot of news, speeches, etc. I pay attention to people's words when they talk. You can say I've fallen in love with Obama. I see a lot of genuineness in him. That's odd, because for the exact same reasons, I see him as nothing more than a sycophant who is ONLY in his position on account of his orations. I agree that he's a sycophant, but for different reasons than the sheeple who have wrecked their/our nation by electing America's Islamo-commie enemy #1.
Romney and Obama are essentially the same people from a political point of view. Say what? How so?
I just don't understand what happened. If I recall, I remember you not caring very much for him citing that you both were from Illinois and knew he was shady, for lack of a better term. Rather, Taz and Obama lived in Illinois for a period of time. He's a lot more than shady. He's completely stealth. The Obama sheeple of Americal who support him , when he was elected and after three plus years, still know nothing about this tyrant.BUZSAW B 4 U 2 C Y BUZ SAW. I'm curious, how are Romney's diplomatic fuck-ups on his London trip playing in the US? As always comics are having a great time with it.
Are they getting air time? Are Republicans embarrassed by his ineptitude? He publically came out and tried to save face, not much in the way of being embarrassed though. This is the Republican party, remember? This is nothing for them. - Oni

May be Obama had some kind of voodoo thing that changed my mind about him. I'm going to pull a total Romney on this and take credit for it.

Rather, Taz and Obama lived in Illinois for a period of time. He's a lot more than shady. He's completely stealth. The Obama sheeple of Americal who support him , when he was elected and after three plus years, still know nothing about this tyrant. Quite so. With a low cunning typical of the man, he has not actually committed any actual acts of tyranny. This has fooled the sheeple into thinking that he's not a tyrant, on the simplistic grounds that he doesn't behave like one in any way whatsoever. But you have the marvelous penetrating intellect we've all come to know and respect, and so you know that whatever he does, he's a tyrant. After all, he's black, isn't he? You've just got to look at the color of the man's skin to realize that no matter what he actually does, he's in the wrong.

I'm curious, how are Romney's diplomatic fuck-ups on his London trip playing in the US? Are they getting air time? Are Republicans embarrassed by his ineptitude? Of course Republicans are embarrassed by his ineptitude. You know what Republicans are like, every time they do something obviously stupid and crass they hide their faces in shame. That's why Michele Bachmann quit political life and joined a convent, remember? Ah, just kidding. No, in fact their propaganda department is attacking the Brits for being offended, and threatening them with apparently unspeakable consequences if they go on being insulted by the wise words of the Chosen One:
Fox News co-host Brian Kilmeade is telling the British people to back off GOP hopeful Mitt Romney after a series of gaffes by the candidate outraged the country. I think the British press better back off, and so should the officials, Kilmeade warned. This guy could be president. Kilmeade does not spell out exactly how Romney will use his mighty powers of maybe-being-president-one-day to punish the British press, but clearly these powers are fairly awesome. Imaginary superpowers usually are. Edited by Dr Adequate, : No reason given.

America's Islamo-commie enemy #1. Fuck, man! What has he done that's either Islamo or Commie? He settled for the Republican health-care plan from "Contract with America." He has continued the Shrub's destruction of our privacy and has had Muslims killed "extrajudicially.". He hasn't confiscated all the civilian firearms in the nation, or even made a move to do so. WTF are you even talking about, Buz? Gimme an example!"The Christian church, in its attitude toward science, shows the mind of a more or less enlightened man of the Thirteenth Century. It no longer believes that the earth is flat, but it is still convinced that prayer can cure after medicine fails." H L Mencken

and in the mean time, the GOP is ignoring the missteps of Romney on the campaign trail. After doing an 'insert foot in mouth' at the Olympics in his 'I am goinna show you folks i know how to do foreign policy tour ,

I mean, you've got conservative economists like Greg Mankiw literally making the case that taxing people, especially the successful, is flat-out immoral. I've been reading some of Mankiw's work. I've not seen anything like this. Can you back this up?

Romney quoted in the article cited by ramoss...
quote: As if Obama's position on Israel is different from any other presidents. Didn't Bush insist on and get Israeli restraint during the war with Iraq? Was such insistence to be considered not respecting the right of a nation to defend itself?Under a government which imprisons any unjustly, the true place for a just man is also in prison. Thoreau: Civil Disobedience (1846) The apathy of the people is enough to make every statue leap from its pedestal and hasten the resurrection of the dead. William Lloyd Garrison
