Re: But wait, there's more!
And for greater comedy ...
"We, like other news organisations today, rely on our writers to submit factually accurate material, Newsweek spokesman Andrew Kirk told Politico’s Dylan Byers.
Byers had asked whether Newsweek has fact-checkers. He was asking because, in the process of highlighting factual errors contained in Niall Ferguson’s current Newsweek cover story about Obama, The New York Times’ Paul Krugman had mused, I guess they don’t do fact-checking at Newsweek.
No, Newsweek does not do fact-checking.
Newsweek ditched its checkers over 15 years ago.
Well, I guess it's not their fault --- they've got to compete with the Internet.
Do you see what I did there?

Yes, you showed that liberals have absolutely no sense of humor when it is THEIR ox being gored.

Nobody has a sense of humour when their own ox is gored, unless the ox is insured *.
*Disclaimer: some policies exclude acts of gored.

Re: But wait, there's more!
I would probably have found it more amusing if they had lampooned other One Term Wonders, and it would make more sense if the indications were that Obama was going to be one*. It did bring this to mind though, the contents date it somewhat:
* He's not my ox. He's not socialist enough

I don't know about you, but it amuses me that 'liberal humour' can even be a thing. Does the right have its own brand of humour? Is it funny? Is that basically what that 'One Term Wonders' video is meant to be?

Nothing beats a bit of nationalistic superiority, eh? Of course, we Brits are completely above all of that, but we're happy the Yanks still like playing with their precious toys

The reason the yanks are always screaming so loud that they are the best in everything is because that is the only way they have to ever convince anyone else of that fact.
P.S.: Dutch humour trumps all!
I recommend you watch the rest of the show as well. It's hilarious.
{Edit} Oh alright, one more fragment:

surely I jest.

yeah it's called blue collar comedy, we got some of the biggest selling comdians. if it's funny or not is purely subjective.
Nothing beats a bit of nationalistic superiority, eh? Of course, we Brits are completely above all of that, but we're happy the Yanks still like playing with their precious toys
I said nothing of superiority, it must be your own personal inferiority that gave you that idea. only the man in the mirror can answer that one for you.

I know. This is the humour thread. I made a joke.
Which should've been obvious from the fact that I undermined my point immediately by declaring what a great accomplishment Dutch humour was.
Sorry if this ticked you off a bit.
