This should be amusing. The number of things that Peeta Mellark evidently doesn't know about ice ages must surely be equaled only by the number of things Coyote does know about them.
{The "Great Debate" topic this is peanut gallery to - Ice Age is a Product of the Flood (Peeta Mellark and Coyote only) - Adminnemooseus}
Edited by Adminnemooseus, : Add link etc. to main "Great Debate" topic.

Some historical events can come and go and not leave a trace of evidence.
As do all not-at-all-historical, completely-made-up-events.
---
But I don't see why you bring up this line of argument. Is it your contention that the Flood is the sort of event that would leave no evidence? If we were discussing (for example) the talking snake, you might have a point --- what are we meant to find, fossilized snake words? But in the case of the Flood, surely it would have left some trace?
Edited by Dr Adequate, : No reason given.

Bees on crack could construct an argument better than this. Also they would make delicious crack honey.

And (with the exception of carbon dating) how do we know how old the universe is?
Yeah, that would be a good thing to except carbon dating from.

Re: refuting propositions
I would expect the thread to discuss the link between an ice age and a flood of whatever type the OP defends.
Life's full of surprises, isn't it?
But in retrospect, the signs were there. Peeta asked if anyone had the balls to go one to one with him. Now, someone who thinks that debating causes of ice ages is some sort of test of manly courage obviously has some kind of issues.
