Motive
Straggler writes:
This suggests that you are beyond all reasoned argument and all evidence no matter what that may conceivably be as long as you are alive.
I would ask what possible motive such an argument would have.
My current belief is that a Creator is as likely as not. As I may have said before, 50/50. It is true that I favor a belief and a hope more-so than not. Thats why I would ask, again, what motive one would have at dissuading me.

I don't think anyone is trying to dissuade you, but the thread does ask the question "what would it take?"
You're basically saying nothing could convince you otherwise if you're saying the only thing would be dying and finding nothing.
Why even answer if that's your position?

Well you are the one that resurrected this thread form the dead(so are you this threads god?), so I guess the actual question is not what others motives are. What is you motive? is the pertinent question.

Facts don't lie or have an agenda. Facts are just facts
"God did it" is not an argument. It is an excuse for intellectual laziness.

Re: Motive
My motive? Honestly, I just like debating/discussing God and philosophical musings on spirituality.
