Stop being a sheep. Everything you just told me was force fed to you by just about every mainstream media outlet out there complete with all the catch phrases like etch a scetch.
LOL.
I paid those high gas bills in 2008. I saw food prices rise in 2008. Back then, I was paying $100 for my weekly food shopping almost every week. This year it has only rarely reached $100.
The evidence is out there where you can find. But you won't, because are gullible and fall for whatever lies are told you.

The "Etch-a-Sketch" reference comes from a spokesman for the Romney campaign. A google search should find that for you.
Turn off Fox news. Turn off Limbaugh. Turn off all of the other right-wing propaganda outlets. Spend a little effort, and you too can find out what is happening in the world.

Isn't this pretty much the same as your argument for why we all believe the Earth is billions of years old, something you now accept? Are you sure you're not in midst of a progression, your eyes gradually being opened to what is real and what is not, and more importantly, how one tells the difference?

Do you realize who was passing legislation in 2007 and 2008? Do you realize who was attaching funding for the war in iraq to every piece of legislation they tried to get passed so that bush would not veto it?

who is it that keeps repeating the etch a sketch mantra? It certainly isn't the one who originated it. The one who originated it certainly didn't give it the meaning that those who keep repeating it in a mocking way.

It took me agreeing with you people on the age of the earth and the universe to get any positive reps, otherwise I get bombarded with negative rep when I don't follow the party line. If that isn't fascism, I don't know what is.

It's called honesty.
You realize that the same folk that were teaching you utter nonsense like Young Earth or that the Biblical Flood happened are the same people feeding you utter nonsense like the current GOP/Tea Party positions don't you?

Anyone so limited that they can only spell a word one way is severely handicapped!

As admirable as it is to see someone have a breakthough on rejecting the strict YEC timeline, there is still a fundamental rejection of evidence going on.
I didn't say accepting a 1 million year old earth was a breakthrough. What I said was that Taq's specific accusation was inaccurate.

It is being repeated, because every speech that Romney makes contradicts the positions that he was favoring a few days earlier.
Romney is by far, the most deceptive politician I have come across. By comparison, he makes Richard Nixon look like a paragon of virtue.

I'm not sure you do know what fascism is.
You claim that disagreeing with you and giving out negative reps is fascism. But isn't dealing out negative jeers exactly the behavior you resort to the instant you get upset?
You post stuff in order to get positive points from others. In other words, you are a sheep. You accuse others of posting the party line, and then post yet another party line. In other words, you are a sheep. You recommend accepting the world as described on Fox News. You are a sheep.

who is it that keeps repeating the etch a sketch mantra?
Who keeps using it? One moment Romney is writing an op-ed saying that we should let auto manufacturers go bankrupt, and the next moment he is saying that we should bail them out. Etch-a-sketch indeed.

Do you think that someone who pushes Geocentrism should be cheered?

he one who originated it certainly didn't give it the meaning that those who keep repeating it in a mocking way.
What did the etch a sketch metaphor originally mean? Wasn't it used to describe Romney backing out of hard right positions taken during the primaries? Was the comment ever something that was not mock material?

Why Romney?
Since the 'etch a sketch' moment, Romney has indeed tracked from the 'severe conservative' he claimed to be as governor, to a more milque toasty candidate.
He's intent on continuing Obama's foreign policies, and moving away from the Republican platform regarding abortion, and claiming he'll reach across the aisle in order to legislate in a bi-partisan way.
So my question is, which Romney do you support, FEY? What are the top one or two issues most important to you, & which Mitt fits for you?

Let's look at the comment by a senior Romney campaign aide:
quote:
Asked whether Mr. Romney had moved too far to the right for the general election, Mr. Fehrnstrom said that the GOP hopeful would hit a reset button for the fall campaign. It’s almost like an Etch A Sketch, he said. You can kind of shake it up and restart it all over again.
What is your preferred interpretation?

Mocking Sketch boy
One early adopter of the 'mock Mitt with an Etch a Sketch' trend was GOP former presidential-hopeful Rick Santorum.
quote:
If they're going to be a little different, we might as well stay with what we have instead of taking a risk of what may be the Etch A Sketch candidate for the future."
