In the beginning was the Word, John is not Genesis 1. Here is Genesis 1 yet again and try actually reading what it says.

No where in Genesis 1 does it say "In the beginning was the Word". It is really embarrassing that you are posting nonsense that supposedly represents Christians and Christianity to the world. Pitiful. Sad.
Anyone so limited that they can only spell a word one way is severely handicapped!
