Empirical study on tin foil hats

I'm still lurking, and coolbeans reminds me a lot of myself roughly 3 years ago. I recall mostly digging through the archives to get information, although there was one time when I was confused by a gish-gallop(spamming of arguments)and I did make a PRATT topic, although Rahvin explained the tactic in a PM.Maybe coolbeans can explain what he wants to find out? And perhaps English isn't his first language, which can be a deterrent for making long posts.
