Theistic Evolution Limited to Christianity

I've noticed a few Christians lately espousing some sort of mergence between science and their belief, typically trying to give specific relationships and definition to theistic evolution views.Adam made from dust representing the long journey from simple cells to complex animals, for example. I wonder, however, why they don't espouse other religions who have less vague examples of mythos that could be reconstructed to support evolution.Hanuman might be one aspect to explore. So my question is this: How is Christianity the best religious representative for a theistic worldview?One one hand you have a woman taken from man's rib and a talking snake and magic tree supposed to somehow indicate some clue about evolution, according to some Christians. On the other hand, we have Hanuman: Why aren't the theistic evolutionists rushing to these stories to exploit them as they do stories in the bible?
