If you had you'd realize that the author of Johns Gospel was trying to change Christianity to fit his mold and the the author of James was just flat wrong according to the Bible itself.In the Bible God says He creates evil and calamity and also tempts people and even has His own personal tempter he sends out to do the tempting for Him.

I dont think you have really read the Bible either. Your idea of a God of logic, reason, and reality is...in reality...your own intellect attempting to explain scripture the way YOU think that it is.
