acorns
This year my Oak trees have been dropping acorns at a rate I have not seen in decades. I fill a 96 gallon trash can half full twice a week and that's just from those on the street, driveway and walk which is a tiny percentage of the area.
That obviously means that summer was wet and warm with lots of sun.

Anyone so limited that they can only spell a word one way is severely handicapped!

We're pretty good so far but by Friday we will have to start wearing long sleeves and long pants, maybe even shoes and socks instead of Huaraches, but it is only supposed to last about four days.

Re: A proposal
First, what is a "twonie"?
This time of year I need all I get, but see me when it's 100+ and maybe we can work something out.

Re: Per day?
See, Toonies and Loonies I would have recognized.
Remember that about 95% of the population of Canada is down here right now.

Re: 108 in France today
Things a little different down here. So far we have had over 30 days at 100 or higher.
