I don't know if anyone else can tell, but to me the performance seems a bit snappier now, which is what I was hoping.

To me the performance has been very slow for the past few weeks.

But let's start with the obvious question first: how fast does your machine render this:

http://www.evcforum.net/hello.php/

Instantly.

The regular pages often take many seconds to load. I go to another website while I'm waiting.

Disable Javascript and then check if there's a positive impact on performance.

I had Javascript disabled for about an hour. I'm on a public computer at the Library so I had to turn it back on or the next poor sucker who uses this machine will think the whole Internet has stopped working.

I didn't notice any particular change in performance.

Re: Using other modules?
The Rules are pretty fast - but then the other pages aren't so bad today either. Maybe it's all in my inmagination.

Re: Using other modules?
ESPN is pretty fast. EvC is slower sometimes.

Pages with large images are always dreadfully slow.

Re: Using other modules?
The machine I'm using today is running Windows 7. At another branch I've used one running XP Professional. I always use Internet Explorer. This one is version 10. No other browsers are available on this machine.
