The Silver Hearts
I saw about 5/7ths of these guys a few yrs ago at a party out on a farm in northern Ontario. If you ever get the chance I would highly recommend them. You will see some things that you never saw before.

Never heard Perahia before.
I have never really appreciated classical music very much apart from Handel's Water Music and Music for the Royal Fireworks. The equivalent of pop songs I suppose.
It strikes me, as an amateur musician, what an incredible feat of memory it must be to learn a piece like this. Truly beautiful.

Music you probably never heard before
Dakota Music Collective
Apart from one at the start it is commercial free. You can listen all day and not hear the same song twice. An excellent eclectic mix of original material.
