For Canadians, if we don't win the gold in hockey it's the end of the world. In any other event we aim for 12th place and are happy with 6th.

As one of Canada's players put it, it only takes one goal to win. We may have twenty of the top scorers in the NHL but you only need one scorer to beat us.
