Just answer the question.
quote:
What's your main objection to the 'We don't discriminate' sticker campaign? (Poll Closed)
It implies that religious freedom = 'discrimination' 59.15% (1,426 votes)
It reflects intimidation by pro-homosexual forces 29.61% (714 votes)
It incriminates businesses that don't display the sticker 11.24% (271 votes)
Oh the fun a mischievous lad could have with a pocketful of stickers in that state!

Why was I thinking the same thing?
The temptation is sooo strong.
I wonder if the Governor's office door is wood or glass.

I figured I'd hit the roadhouses and Chick-fil-A joints first. For maximum effect.
I hear the governor's door is a toll booth.

So what is the alternative. Forcing gay people to go into each store and take abuse trying to find someone in Mississippi who won't cast the first stone? Brilliant.

They want the same religious freedoms their ancestors had--the freedom to burn witches at the stake and the freedom to torment unbelievers.
The same equivocation of religious freedom and mob license undergirds the Christian right's objection to anti-bullying laws.
God meant for those people to be bullied.

Faith's new favorite source
Mr. Coston is a loony.
The first page of his website is a monstrosity.

Facts don't lie or have an agenda. Facts are just facts
"God did it" is not an argument. It is an excuse for intellectual laziness.

Re: Faith's new favorite source
I don't think that's Coston's website, that's a site that hosts all kinds of things, and happened to host Coston. It's hardly my "favorite" source, I really know nothing about it. I've run across it before but never checked out who owns it. But thanks for posting that page, it looks like it has some interesting information.

But is it "new" information? And is it "beneficial"?

Re: Faith's new favorite source
Mr Coston may indeed be a loony, but I don't think it is actually his site. I am not sure who manages the site, but it appears to be links to many different resources, one (or more) of which is Mr. Coston. ABE: although Mr. Coston's resource is embedded (not sure if that is the right term - it not just a link) within the site. /ABE
Here is a page where emails are addressed to a Sister Tracy and replies are signed "for Jesus' sake, tracy." So it seems that a Tracy person has put this webpage together.
However, that she has linked Mr. Coston to her nonsense does not bode well for him I would not want anything I wrote to have a link on her site.
As far as being "Faith's new favorite source" it has a lot of the same ideas that she espouses: the Pope is the Anti-Christ, hatred for the Jesuits, the unreliability of any translations besides AKJV, veneration of King James IV, the lie of evolution, the Pope's support of Hitler... you name it.
So, Sister Tracy (whoever you are) - looney of the week.
WOW.

Nope, same old information, just a duplication
And is it "beneficial"?
Nope, it causes doctrinal meltdown.

Oh, good for Tracy whoever she is, it's such an honor to be named Loony of the Week at EvC. I'll have to spend more time at her site, she obviously has a strong grasp of truth.

Don't worry. You still get the Lifetime Achievement Award.

Yeah, she's full of good stuff. Microwaves are evil, as are televisions and margarine. And editions of the KJV which include genealogical tables. That's an "abomination". I'm surprised God didn't mention it in Leviticus somewhere.

There's a name for that fallacy I'm sure. I respond positively to one list of descriptions that I agree with, and then you find a few you know I wouldn't agree with but make it seem as though I would.
