I notice a provincialism in the OP. I would have let it pass but for the author maintaining the perspective in more recent comments.
The OP asserts that adherents of certain religions 'appear' a certain way. It attempts to draw conclusions from this. But how people of this or that belief system 'appear' is a function of perspective. Where is one standing? What are one's measures? Where is the light? What message board are you on?
In recent days much has been made here of the situation in one country. It's as if a deity that reigned over (at least) an entire universe would have some special sentimental attachment to that one piece of real estate among many on a single planet. That's how a mortal OP author in one country thinks. That's not how an impartial, fair-minded transcendent immortal cosmic mind would think.
Until that limited perspective is shown to be objectively more valid than thousands of other possible perspectives, it is useless to reason based on how religions 'appear'. All religions appear all kinds of ways to all kinds of people.
