Faith, you keep claiming that the Biblical Floods (either one, take your pick) are not miraculous. If so, then please present the natural mechanisms and forces that explain both what the chosen story claims happened and the evidence seen in reality.

If you use (as an example) the fountains of the deep then explain the physics and mechanics involved.

Do you have the natural mechanism and model that explains how sin, the Fall, had an effect on the physical Creation that brought about disease and death and destruction of many other kinds that found expression at the Flood and in other physical events?

Please present it since you claim the Biblical Floods were not a miracle.

Anyway, the Flood would have been the result of the more than 1500 years of sin that had accumulated in the human race since the Fall. While all these things have to do with God's sovereign judgments, they also have a fine-tuning that suggests an exactness of timing that has an automatic aspect to it, as something built into the nature of the universe itself that affects it physically.

And you are about to present the natural mechanism and model that will explain all that or is this just more Creationist Biblical Bullshit?

My claim is that data in the Bible is as good as data in the field.

That is easy to test. We can send people to see if the Mojave is a desert, if the mountains are there, if the fossil exists and they can report back, but that is not true of what you call data in the Bible, is it? You can't seem to even get Christians to agree about what data is in the Bible.

But if you want a naturalistic explanation, a change in the environment that changed the temperature of the air could have condensed the vapor into water heavy enough to fall.

Does Genesis 7 say ...

"Gen 7:11 In the six hundredth year of Noah's life, in the second month, the seventeenth day of the month, the same day were all the fountains of the great deep broken up, and the windows of heaven were opened."

What is the model, mechanism, process and method to open all the fountains of the deep (whatever they are) and the windows of heaven (what ever they are) on one single 24 hour day?

Once we know that we can move on to see if there is any evidence of that model, mechanism, process and method ever happening or even being possible.
