Faith's last post: Message 714
And based on that last post, I guess it's all our fault.
That's what we get for dealing in evidence instead of belief, and the scientific method instead of faith-based apologetics.
But this has been very educational. I don't think I have ever encountered a person who was so stubborn in their beliefs, yet so stubbornly and clearly wrong.
And it has been very entertaining. I have never encountered someone who was so willing to grasp at straws, pulling all sorts of explanations out of the mystical hat. One certainly could not predict what she would come up with next!
But it will be a much duller place, although a far more rational one, with her off sulking in her tent.
(This probably deserves no better than Coffee Table.)

Religious belief does not constitute scientific evidence, nor does it convey scientific knowledge.
Belief gets in the way of learning--Robert A. Heinlein
How can I possibly put a new idea into your heads, if I do not first remove your delusions?--Robert A. Heinlein
It's not what we don't know that hurts, it's what we know that ain't so--Will Rogers
If I am entitled to something, someone else is obliged to pay--Jerry Pournelle
If a religion's teachings are true, then it should have nothing to fear from science...--dwise1
"Multiculturalism" does not include the American culture. That is what it is against.

Poor Taste
I think that for the sake of social consistency, I don't believe in promoting a topic that mentions the fallibilities of a named member at EvC. Faith is a character, thats for sure...but she deserves as much respect as any of us would get....and using members names in topic titles sends a bad message in general.
