Since when is giving an opinion making oneself an "arbiter"?
Perhaps if your opinions were not bolted so tightly to criticism of others, you might find that you get more civil discussion back in return.
That's just an opinion too, one I've argued does NOT convey respect for human beings, but you pronounce it as dogma.
