... A change so big, so radical, as we have between the two cretures would take millions of years. ...
Between 8 and 10 million years according to the evidence.
Exactly and evidence is what science does not have to support that ridiculous theory. ...
Fossil and genetic. Why do these completely different avenues of evidence provide the same answer?
... We don't even have the same chromosomes. We have 46, they have 48. Where is the transition ...
This has been answered, you mocked it (an emotional response) rather than provided information that the answer was invalid (which would be a scientific response).
We can also compare DNA with Neanderthals and with gorillas and see similar differences in different degrees ... as would be expected from evolution.
Our last common ancestor, DOES show an evolutionary line with its previous ancestors. But between that one and us, is not an evolution.
Again, define evolution, the process and the theory.
Fossils are like snapshots of the past, and like snapshots of a trip across America they do not tell the complete story. Evolution does not occur in leaps and bounds but slowly generation by generation, just as step by step you can walk across the US. The pictures are not the story, they are evidence that the evolutionary events occurred.
Enjoy.
