Re: Squee!
Somebodies spents lotsa time on that path ....
Makes you wonder how all those brain-washed scientists figured it out when there's nobody out there in space to witness all of it

Raleigh, NC for size
I can't vouch for the accuracy of this, I only ran across it on the internet, but someone spliced the comet onto a graphic of Raleigh, NC to show the size of it.
Though it was worth sharing here:

Re: Raleigh, NC for size
Yeah, I was going to do some measuring too, to see how accurate it was, but then I had to actually get to work at my job

Re: Raleigh, NC for size
Hrm, they're both working fine for me.
I got it from here:
http://www.reddit.com/...d2k20/comet_67p_raleigh_nc_for_size
ABE: I just Shift+F5'd this page and it loaded in just fine.

Higher resolution and closer
I like how you can see individual rocks and even ripples in the sand:
Here's some links that have some more pics:

Re: updated pictures
I really wish there was some kind of reference for scale...
I can't tell how big or small anything is in those pictures.
Still awesome, but they'd be awesomer with a banana, or something, for scale.

Re: updated pictures
It's blocked I'll have to see it when I get home.
Both Photobucket and Imgur are blocked here, along with a whole slew of other stuff.
