Re: your statistics are bogus in every possible way
As usual you confound the teaching of individuals with the overarching messages of scripture about nations.
After much thought I can't detect an atom of meaning in that. Would you like another run at it?

When a man really loves a gun, obviously he wants to go to bed with it. I mean, it says right n the story that his wife was 58, how can she hope to compete with a nice shiny gun?

Hopefully not a 9. That would be disgusting

Facts don't lie or have an agenda. Facts are just facts
"God did it" is not an argument. It is an excuse for intellectual laziness.

I guess it's not just toddlers.
A Florida man has been charged with manslaughter after he admitted that he shot his friend with a military-style assault rifle.
The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office said that 21-year-old Chad Martin Stall told investigators that he had been hanging out at 23-year-old Kadin Thomas Koehler’s home on Sunday morning when the incident occurred, according to The Tampa Tribune.
Stall said that he observed that the 7.62 mm caliber assault rifle was loaded before pointing it at Koehler, but he did not think the weapon would actually fire when he pulled the trigger.
So, what did he think would happen when he pointed a loaded gun at someone and pulled the trigger?
I notice that since he's been charged with manslaughter, no-one's doubting that he actually is that stupid. This sets a new precedent for forms of legal defense. Anyone can claim to be stupid. "Yes, I knew the gun was loaded, I pointed it at his head and deliberately pulled the trigger, but on my honor what I was expecting was for a magic rabbit to hop out of the barrel and give him candy. I'm a moron."

The stupid is strong with this one...
I wonder if it scares gun owners, who consider themselves responsible, that the natural consequence of them being able to own a gun, is that people as phenomenally stupid as this guy, are allowed to as well.

Could there be any greater conceit, than for someone to believe that the universe has to be simple enough for them to be able to understand it ?

Can't be the Darwin Award really - I'm afraid the principal idiot's genes are still washing around in the global gene pool.

That's why he gets the Honorable Mention ... the award goes to the guy stupid enough to be in the same room with him and a loaded gun.

Re: The state of "Arms", 1791
Now, I think that the authors of the 2nd Amendment were unconcerned about defining "arms" or in anyway limiting the possession of "arms" because all "arms" of the time were acceptable to them.
Well you're wrong. Artillery existed at that time.
Arms were meant to be a firearm that a single individual could use.
Does not the 2nd Amendment allow a citizen to have their own personal H-bomb?
Ah, the ol' Godwin's Law of guns...
As an online discussion on the 2nd amendment grows longer, the probability of a comparison involving individuals owning nuclear weapons approaches 1.
