So now, after bald face lies that you know the Constitution and know who is and who is not eligible, you're saying it "depends". Ok, I'll bite -- what does it depend on Ms Constitutional expert?
And remember, your god is watching to make sure what you say it true.

Faith jibbers on:

Aside from the fact that both Obama and Cruz are qualified to be POTUS, along with even the Panamanian born McCain, the mere fact that you believe Obama was born in Kenya is very disturbing. It aint true, never was true and never will be true. YOU APPARENTLY WISH IT DESPERATELY WAS TRUE. You are so sadly stuck up in your head.

Well, I know how scrupulous you are at verifying that your evidence is absolutely true, and not faked. All of his republican opponents must have been paid off handsomely, to not spend the past 6+years in non-stop Congressional hearings to oust him from office.
Oh, and the Supreme Court have all been paid off, too.
You know what will probably happen, don't you? He will have his presidency taken away sometime in the future, just like it happens to athletes, sometimes years later, when the authorities find out they cheated.
Boy, now that would be a first!
Years after Obama is out of office, to have the Presidency taken away from him.
Of course, if he has a time machine he can rig things so it will not happen. It just isn't fair.

But being born in Kenya of a Kenyan father does disqualify Obama from the Presidency and you are all lying about that.
And you wonder why people call you a liar?

The evidence for Kenya is very good.
We mathematicians might say that is vacuously true.
There isn't any evidence for a Kenya birth. None at all. So if you describe every bit of that evidence as good, you are not saying anything false. That's what it means to say that it is vacuously true.

Re: Kenyan birth continued
It's not hard to fake documentary evidence of many kinds. But the evidence that the Hawaiian evidence is faked is mostly in the very good evidence that Obama was born in Kenya. His grandmother's testimony that she was there at his birth among other Kenyan sources; news reporters presenting his Kenyan birth as fact; the identification of Obama as having been born there in a statement by his literary agent in 1991, and many other statements of the same sort before he became a candidate fior the Presidency --- and the rush to get rid of all that previous evidence at that point sure does suggest that being born of a Kenyan father in Kenya does disqualify him, even in the eyes of some of his supporters. Again, you guys really need to get your stories together. And the mailman who was told by Mary Ayers that they were helping a "foreign student." And that's just a few bits of evidence I found.

Akshully it's been so long since I thought about all this I'd forgotten the evidence and only went looking for it because of how you all slander those who believe O was born in Kenya. The blatant denial of that very good evidence sure says a lot about the cultic mentality of the deniers though.

Re: try actually learning Faith
If it's true then there's no problem with Ted Cruz's candidacy so why is anyone making an issue of that?
I'm making an issue of it in order to gauge your level of hypocrisy. Cruz was born under the same circumstances as those that you claim for Obama, yet I don't see you declaring he's ineligible for office.
Clearly Cruz being a US citizen by birth qualifies as a natural born citizen as does president Obama.

Re: try actually thinking you all
I refuse to answer about Cruz because I have not yet thought about anything to do with his candidacy. Your transparent attempt to hang hypocrisy on me is reprehensible but par for the course here. The "tu quoque" mentality here is in general reprehensible. You can't discuss Obama without accusing the opposition. But in doing so you inadvertently confess that Obama is guilty as charged. Funny how that works. I'm still waiting for you all to come out with a Position Statement you all agree on.

What's there to think about? of the two politicians we've been discussing one was born in a foreign country to a US citizen mother and a foreign national father, the other is President Obama.
I'm still waiting for you all to come out with a Position Statement you all agree on.
The position seems to be: Given that he was born in america President Obama is a natural born american citizen, and that even if he wasn't born in america he is a natural born american citizen by virtue of his mother's US citizenship.

Just checking, but you do understand that Obama's mother still had to be there, ....right?

After you divorce one belief from evidence, the sky's the limit.
For example, you could believe the GOP politicians who have decided they are the populist champions who will reverse the Obama-caused wealth inequality in the U.S. I suppose his opposition to more tax breaks for the wealthy prevents higher incomes from trickling down to working people.
An evidence-divorcee might not even smile when Ted Cruz compares himself to Galileo, and his opponents on climate change to flat-earthers who refuse to follow the evidence. According to him, there has been no warming for 17 years. Trust him: he says one of his parents was a scientist.
Partly it's the big lie effect, but mostly this credulity reflects a large segment of the U.S. population that doesn't know what evidence is, doesn't care about it when they do know, and become even more hidebound in their beliefs when contravening evidence is presented.
You have to hope to outnumber and outlast these folks. They won 't change.

Ha ha. Right. So now explain why it's so evil for the "birthers" to claim he was born in Kenya? Just agree with them instead of calling them names. Nope, clearly there IS a problem with his having been born in Kenya of a Kenyan father.
Gosh I wish I had some potato chips.

I'm not giving Cruz a pass. That's all made up to throw at me. I've said NOTHING about Cruz, haven't thought about Cruz at all. Hint: I put the Constitution above anybody. So when it's clear what the Constitution REALLY says, which so far has been far far far from clarified among the Obama fans on this thread, then you can figure out what I think of Cruz's candidacy.

Mostly because they are simply liars making shit up and making up totally irrelevant shit at that. That is the typical behavior of the carny conmen and their palm the pea while attention is misdirected tactics.
It's irrelevant since Obama is clearly Constitutionally eligible to be President but Ted Cruz is still simply a hypocritical willfully ignorant idiot who's sole goal is to work to destroy the US.

Anyone so limited that they can only spell a word one way is severely handicapped!
