Remap Keyboard Keys with These 3 Free Apps (I use SharpKeys).
Alt-tab changed in Vista but changed back in 7 AFAIK. What difference do you see?
Have you looked into XAMPP? Apache, MySQL, Perl, and more in one bundle.

Re: ESPN Website Redesign
What are you talking about? I said just a few posts away that I think people should stay with the OS that they are comfortable with. Win8/8.1 has been misunderstood, but that's ok.

Re: ESPN Website Redesign
Haven't used 7 for a while. Win8.1 search function is wonderful, though. But again, as I've said many times, stay with xp if that's what you like.

Re: ESPN Website Redesign
Have you looked at 10? I just installed 10 as a dual boot with 8.1. It looks good. Seems they have addressed a lot of the weird interface issues that people complained about in 8. As I have winphone and surface tablet, I really like the evolution of the OS. I was an early adopter of the surface and understand how/why RT is dead, but I have had a high quality good performing tablet for a couple years now. Also, the new Surface 3 is coming out at a reasonable price point. Now I just need to see if my keyboard is compatible.

Re: ESPN Website Redesign
One issue I had with win 8.1 (mind you, I was just trying to get rid of a virus on a friends computer), was that it kept on wanting to sign in via the internet user account.. ARGGGH.

Yes, I have. I hate it. I will be skipping 10.

That's what I use too! Nice program.

Wow, it's been over two years since I saw how 7 did alt-tab, let me see what I can remember. I think the main thing it did that was different from XP is that it would display a smaller and semi-transparent version of the window of the application you were selecting. Also, with XP, while alt-tabbing you could cancel it by hitting the control key, and this went away in 7. 7, at least to me, didn't feel like a modification to the existing alt-tab function - it felt much more like a reimplementation.

No, I haven't looked at that. Thanks for the tip.
