Evolution Fairytale is not by any stretch of the imagination welcoming of arguments that are one iota different from their own. Percy is a double saint compared to the "moderators" over there.

One commentator said that America had chosen a smart crook (Nixon) over an honest fool (McGovern).Since then, if somebody claims to be an honest fool and not a smart crook, I take his word for it.So I accept that Donald Trump is an honest fool and Davidjay is an honest fool.

The point is not to let her insane ideas go unchallenged. We've seen from the 2016 election that there are plenty of people who think like she does. There may be a tiny fraction of them who will recognize the insanity if it is exposed.

I would say that those debates have the most value. No offense intended to the smart people but if you just want information about science, there are probably better places to get it. The value of this site is in pointing out the idiocy of young-earthism and its ilk.

Granted, but the teacher is not expected to replace the textbook. And both are better sources of information than a playground argument. The reason we have the playground arguments here is because we can't get the creationists into the classroom at all.
