She now refuses to keep her oath, citing the authority of God. I wonder which God witnessed her oath and which one she's citing now.
In my mind, she is simply obeying her God. She is exercising judgement as she sees it. Her excuse is that she is backed by God. It is honest, in her mind.
As to which "God" witnessed her oath....seems to me that secular humanists are defining which ":God" helps the state.
