I sometimes compare porn with spectator sports. Watching football is an incomplete experience but censorship of football would probably be harder to sell than censorship of porn.

I googled 'porn' (does it get simpler than that?)
I googled a woman's name once (it wasn't "Candy" but it was something like that) and most of the hits were porn. I'm at the public library, so I'm not going to try to replicate the experiment today.

For a better analogy compare it to WWF and the choreographed "wrestling" programmed entertainment. The posing etc etc etc.
I don't think there's much difference between WWE and football.
And of course not all pornography is choreographed or posed. There's plenty of candid nudist porn and paparazzi porn - not that I would know anything about them but I hear things.

It doesn't come from a religion. It's one of the most basic principles of any society, human or otherwise. Religions have enough sense to borrow some of the most basic principles.

It would be considered by most watchers as quite mild and they would likely skip by it.
I think you're incorrectly characterizing all porn fans as slobbering perverts. "Most watchers" have their preferences and many preferences are what you would call "mild".
Greatest I am writes:
Anyone who knows that there is a camera running will play to it.
You seem to disagree with the people who insist that all women in porn are being coerced. I'd say that both extreme views are wrong. Some are coerced, some are shy but willing and some play to the camera.

If a serial killer sleeping under his bookcase is awoken by a Bible falling from the top shelf and landing open at the Ten Commandments, his realization that he should stop murdering people is no less valid than anyone else's realization of the same just because his realization is religiously sourced.
Actually, you're missing the point. I said that "thou shalt not kill" is not religion-based. It's conscience-based and socialization-based.

You said in Message 74:

That's the equivalent of saying, "So eggs have no place in your diet because they come from volcanos?" I was simply pointing out that you were factually wrong. The proper response on your part would be, "Thank you."

And yet we kill. Makes the Original Sin theory plausible, at least.
Huh?
Practically every society on earth considers killing people a bad thing. Only a small minority do kill. That suggests that only a few people have inherited Original Sin.

The actors and actresses who provide supernormal stimuli of surgically and cinematically perfected bodies, breasts and pricks of outlandish size and heroic stamina, and malignant portrayals of human sexuality as sadistic and exploitive, all impact cultural norms and make even harder the often awkward negotiation of human sexuality.
That might have been true in the past but from what I've seen of Internet porn, it's pretty ordinary.

'Teen Slut on a Leash Gets C*m Drenched'
Notice a pattern in how women are spoken of?
You're cherry-picking. Try googling "healthy expression of sexuality".

Healthy habits are not the issue and what I gave was common internet porn fare.
You seem to be suggesting that the "common Internet porn fare" is NOT healthy. Why else propose censorship to cure it?
You could just as well say that food is not healthy because some foods contain sugar, caffeine, etc. Some is not all.

Re: Sexuality Education
Greatest I am writes:
You must have missed that our government as well as others are trying to censor/control the amount of addictive materials that food companies put into what we eat.
There's a difference between regulation and censorship. Regulation has to do with real-world things like speed limits, health and safety, etc. Censorship is about ideas. Regulation of ideas makes "wrong thinking" a thought-crime.
Greatest I am writes:
Why not let them also do that when as much harm is being done as there seems to be?
First, it doesn't "seem" to be doing much harm. I would argue that Facebook and Twitter are as harmful as porn - with the added disadvantage that they are more socially acceptable.
Second, as I have already said, even if there is some harm associated with porn, it's the lesser of two evils. Censorship is a form of prohibition and prohibition tends to do more harm than good. Prohibition of alcohol largely caused the rise of organized crime and the prohibition of recreational drugs perpetuates organized crime today.
