This is what inaction might just do and if you count the Honor killings that Canada has already tolerated,
What honour killings have been tolerated by Canada?

You are as aware of her statements as I am. She is just one of many though.
so you an't support your claim that she was forced into the wearing the hijab
I cannot reason with a closed mind who does not know good moral action... says the guy who wants to discriminate against people based on their religion
... and finds no evil in Islam
people are evil, and evil people exist regardless of what religion they claim to be a part of. Saying all muslims are bad is just as wrong as saying all jews are bad.

Tell us why you respect religionists, and Muslims in this case, who believe that it is ok to cut hands off of thieves and who will stone to death women who have been raped? Or how about your respect for these thought police.
I don't respect them, but they are not all muslims. Tell me why i should respect some one who wants to dictate to women what they can and can't wear?

We should all be against the Muslim men's perceived rights to keep his female children and wives as slaves.
And if any actual slavery is occurring people should be prosecuted, but my question was about you wanting to infringe on the rights of muslim women.

... giving Muslim women the same freedom as the rest of us have against oppression is quite a good idea. except you want to turn around and oppress them by telling them what to wear.

It will also show the women that to our government, they are equal and not the second class citizens that their men make them be by their oppression
They are equal except for when they choose to wear the hijab, then they become second class citizens that you can punish for making a clothing choice you disagree with.
