And where did this woman testify that her husband (who she is separated from) was forcing her to wear the hijab?

The judge said that it was a religious symbol which are not allowed in court - the court being a secular institution with no religious symbols anywhere - then compared her scarf to a hat or sunglasses. Weird. I wonder if this judge refuses hearing the cases of women who show up wearing one of those small gold crosses on their necklace. I doubt it.

Testimonials are not universal. Your claim is equivalent to saying that if one woman says she has a sore foot, then all women have sore feet. Not true. It only applies to the ones who actually testify. So it still boils down to you wanting to dictate what women wear.

From this this news linked in the description of the video :
During the proceeding, Judge Marengo cited Article 13 of the regulations of the Court of Quebec. That article states: "Any person appearing before the court must be suitably dressed." You can read the full text of the regulations here. My opinion is that the judge was completely wrong but she should get along well with GIA. They should have a beer. My opinion is that the judge was completely wrong but she should get along well with GIA. They should have a beer. Can't be done. The judge in question is a she and GIA would try to tell her how to dress and she would throttle him before they got to the bar.

Modulous Quite possibly not but her culture and peers are likely doing so. Every story will be different but our duty is to extend the freedoms we have earned to all within our borders and we will get the best bang for the buck by outlawing the signs of slavery that the garb in question represents. I've told you several times: I find it morally repugnant that you want to tell Muslim women what to wear. If they choose freely to wear the hijab, you want to prevent them from doing so.

ringo I do not want to remove a woman's right to choose. I do want to remove the oppression of their Muslim husbands and fathers who force them to wear what they choose. I want to free slaves while you do nothing. Regards DL

I don't respect them, but they are not all muslims. Tell me why i should respect some one who wants to dictate to women what they can and can't wear?

You should not unless it is to rid free nations of those who promote slavery, as in this case. A democracy has the right to tell it's citizens how to dress. Most have some type of dress code.
