You should not unless it is to rid free nations of those who promote slavery,
And what about those who wish to infringe on people's rights?

We should all be against the Muslim men's perceived rights to keep his female children and wives as slaves.
And if any actual slavery is occurring people should be prosecuted, but my question was about you wanting to infringe on the rights of muslim women.

What right? We already have dress codes and giving Muslim women the same freedom as the rest of us have against oppression is quite a good idea. In fact, it is our duty as free people to insure that all share that same freedom. That's right, so stop telling Muslim women they cannot wear a nijab.
Why do you not want to end the oppression of Muslim women in our free lands? Why do you want to continue to oppress them by telling them what they can and cannot wear?

Hopefully the misogynous Muslim men who deny their women first class citizenship. Certainly not the women being forced. Believe it or not, some Muslim choose to wear it. Anyway, what good would it do to ban it altogether? Out of sight, out of mind?

Hyroglyphx Yes, some of that oppression will go underground, unfortunately. But it would show Muslim men and their oppressive regimes that they are not compatible with our values and we will not tolerate open displays of their making second class citizens of their women and daughters. It will also show the women that to our government, they are equal and not the second class citizens that their men make them be by their oppression. Mine is just one nail in a coffin that needs many. Regards DL

They are equal except for when they choose to wear the hijab, then they become second class citizens that you can punish for making a clothing choice you disagree with.

It will also show the women that to our government, they are equal and not the second class citizens... Not second class citizens until they make a clothing choice you disagree with, then you want the government to ... what? Arrest the woman for wearing a scarf? How about red spandex pants? Can we jail fat women for wearing tight red spandex pants? Please?
