OK, I failed to comprehend a thing you just wrote. But I don't see an answer to my question.
How do you get from
VI in = VI out + Eddy Current heat to cooling oil
to
ZERO = I2R Eddy current heat = conceivably EVERYTHING = -Mc2 fission
?
Alan

Re: Forum Guidelines Advisory
I agree entirely with your guidelines. You have applied exemplary rulings and everyone has been allowed a fair shot at me. Your only mistake has been to suggest that my motives have been to 'mix it'.
I refute this. I have detailed many examples that are based on faith rather than logic. I will make no further posts.

Re: Forum Guidelines Advisory
So I guess my question (along with the outstanding questions of others) will remain unanswered ... which leaves me with the impression it's unanswerable. Well, I'm not going to die for lack of the answer.

I don't know if Alan Cresswell will visit again, but this most recent visit reinforces a couple of my opinions:
  1. The issue of perpetual motion machines, as well as those of a flat earth and other unusual beliefs, are ones of psychology rather than science.
  2. Some Creationists hold their beliefs in such a way as to fit neatly into this category, some don't.
I'm reminded of a description I once read of a man who believed he was Napolean. Naturally he lived in the 19th century, so this story is a bit old, and it comes from the days before modern psychology, but even so the doctors understood that he was operating under a delusion. They believed that if the man were confronted with reality that he might snap out of it, so they brought in his family. The man knew his mother and father and his sister, and he remembered growing up with his family, and indeed even the days leading up to his hospitalization, but this didn't at all shake his conviction that he was Napolean. He held this belief irrationally and steadfastly in the face of all evidence to the contrary, including demonstrating to him that he really didn't know that much about Napolean's actual life.
Alan Cresswell seems cut from the same mold. I think that had we engaged him in a more dismissive and mocking way that he would still be here, and it was only when we began focusing on the details of his claims that he picked up his toys and left, taking yet one more parting shot, though we know from his own statements that he never mixes it up on discussion boards!

I just stumbled upon this thread.
Mr Cresswell needs to check the dimensions of various quantities stated in his web page.
I tend to look poorly on someone trying to convince me of their physics acumen when they cannot define energy either by equation or have it in the wrong units as occurs at least twice on his page.

House Physicist
Thanks again Eta. I like knowing we have a real house physicist around .

I wonder if AC has been assainated by secret government agents in order to prevent him from actually building his perpetual motion machines.I would dearly love to know how he starts his perpetual motion engines. If you are still avilable for comment how about an actual demonstration on television or do you prefer to talk rather than show us the indisputable facts with an actual working model? I also would like to know if a perpetual motion machine can be stopped since according to your website the laws of physics[such as inertia] are bunk.

Without me to kick your arses and keep you on the ball, the last few weeks must have been terrible for ya'll.
Diagrams 8 and 8a have been added to show a plasma turbo thrust nozzle
equivalent to the key Diagram 2. Centrifugal spin force is remarkable. Is it not? It is always at 90 degrees to the force that produces it and can be anything from 10 to 10,000,000 times GREATER. How very, very Newtonian this is not.
Do you all still cling to your forlorn beliefs or have you called some people to task?
Two working devices are now up for the public scrutiny. These and the site have been taken up by a professional publicist. It sounds like a members only club format to me.
I went for it because the man approached me and said, 'It is clear to me that a critic can only prove you correct'

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaargh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I knew I should not have done it BUT I just wasted 40 minutes of my life reading the whole damn page of this nonsense. I cannot get the said 40 minutes back. I wonder what that has to say about information & entropy.
On a more serious note, his website has to rank right up there with the biggest crank sites I have ever seen. I know I am dumber for having read it - where is the bloody health warning is what I'd like to know.
A mixture of freshman level thermodynamics mixed with appeals to quantum fantasy all embedded in a matrix of incomprehensible prose. I mean no offense but these are the rantings of a deluded mind.
Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaagh - I'm still kicking myself for reading it!

Re: Aaaaaaaaaaaaaargh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Oh MrHambre. Eta is an astrophysicist but has not registered as a he, she or it. If Eta should manage to understand anything at all, he, she or the it becomes a Zeroid person.
Some adults live at home and off their parents income. Astrophysicists have perfected the scam of living off the taxpayer.
If a million mentally retarded Astrophysicists band together, they can assume the identities of potential genius. Imagine one million heads stuck up one million arses and every voice trying to sing Jerusalem.
When will an astrophysicist float itself on the Stock market?

Re: Aaaaaaaaaaaaaargh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
At least I wouldn't put on a web page the gibberish you have. And since I have never heard of you I guess your 'inventions' haven't hit it big.
You allude to being scorned by University departments - what a shock there. If your stuff had merit (which it doesn't) some professor would jump on it in a hurry to further their own career and bank accounts.
Why the flowery mystical prose in the descriptions. It doesn't lend credence but just highlights the general nutiness.
As I said earlier, I read it and it is just babbling nonsense from a physics standpoint.
You are right though, I do effectively live off the taxpayer + I guess University endowments. However, at least I know basic physics (+ some esoteric physics) whereas you seemingly are another nutcase engineer dabbling in areas you have zero expertise.
There are hundreds of crank websites like yours with nutty ideas and inventions that never see light of day. I wonder why? - because they don't work if built and nobody in their right mind would invest hard cash behind lunatic ideas.
