But to ban the import of this cult is a sin against FTFY.

Islam is a dangerous, violently intolerant, totalitarian cult. But to ban the import of this cult is a sin against equality, the core doctrine of the religion of cultural Marxism. Madness, but popular for some strange reason. Yes, why is it so popular? And how can anyone defend it on the ground of religious freedom/equality when it is in fact a totalitarian cult? The US Constitution does NOT protect that. In the news recently was the story of a heavily armed Muslim man at a Christian conference making a video in his car saying "be terrified" among other things. That's all he did so he wasn't arrested although I think anyone else would have been. Apparently the main thing that provoked him was that there was an ex-Muslim speaker at the conference. But hey, Islam is a religion of peace. And the liberals are going to keep on saying that when there are thousands upon thousands of their victims lying in the streets in their blood.

Looks like a great argument for gun control to me.

Should have said it's an argument for extreme vetting of Muslim candidates for entrance to the country, that being the topic of the thread. This was an ordinary Muslim guy, so far with no hint of ties to jihadis or jihadist training (I guess that could be shown eventually of course). Just an ordinary Muslim American guy who wants to serve Allah by killing some infidels. But of course Islam is a religion of peace.

Religions are what leaders tell their followers they are. Throughout all time religions have killed and persecuted, raised armies and taxes, been persecuted, been obliterated, been invented etc etc
There's nothing very special about Islam. It's yet another daft belief being exploited.Je suis Charlie. Je suis Ahmed. Je suis Juif. Je suis Parisien. This has been answered a million times already. How you hold on to that vicious canard I don't know. It's certainly not justified. Funny how you all whitewash Islam or try to tar Christianity with the same brush. Of course confusing the RCC of the Inquisition with Christianity allows you to convince yourselves I guess, but such distinctions escape you. And where have you seen Buddhists go around killing people for Buddha? Etc.
Even you know if you give it half a thought that the biggest killers aside from Islam and the RCC (not "religion") are Communism and Fascism and other "secular" totalitarian political views. These days in America it's the Left and the Anarchists who are the instigators of violence and suppression of free speech. Analogous to the early days of the brownshirts perhaps. You only need to get the bad ones.
The good ones are fine. Simple. Oh, wait....The above ontological example models the zero premise to BB theory. It does so by applying the relative uniformity assumption that the alleged zero event eventually ontologically progressed from the compressed alleged sub-microscopic chaos to bloom/expand into all of the present observable order, more than it models the Biblical record evidence for the existence of Jehovah, the maximal Biblical god designer. -Attributed to Buzsaw Message 53 The explain to them any scientific investigation that explains the existence of things qualifies as science and as an explanation-Attributed to Dawn Bertot Message 286 Does a query (thats a question Stile) that uses this physical reality, to look for an answer to its existence and properties become theoretical, considering its deductive conclusions are based against objective verifiable realities.-Attributed to Dawn Bertot Message 134

I was reminded yesterday that the English Protestant church is the second largest landowner in the UK. It's fairly quiescent now being reformed but back in the day land ownership was power. You mean the Anglican Church? Or which "English Protestant Church?"
If the Anglican, they inherited most of their property from the RCC didn't they? Great wealth is certainly contrary to the spirit of Christ. At least if it is hoarded and not used for His purposes. Edited by Faith, : No reason given.

I mean the Church of England.
If the Anglican, they inherited most of their property from the RCC didn't they? 'Inherited' is an interesting word. Stolen with violence is more accurate.
Great wealth is certainly contrary to the spirit of Christ. At least if it is hoarded and not used for His purposes. Yes, but it always has been used like that and it's being used like that now. I was in the US last week I listened to an Evangelical praising the Lord and demanding money. Same old snake oil, slightly newer pot. Edited by Tangle, : No reason given.Je suis Charlie. Well it's true there is every kind of apostasy these days and televangelism is one of them. But you didn't answer: the Church of England acquired its property from the RCC when they split, didn't it?

Yes, why is it so popular? And how can anyone defend it on the ground of religious freedom/equality when it is in fact a totalitarian cult? Islam is not a monolithic entity. Why do you keep repeating that particular strain of thought?
In the news recently was the story of a heavily armed Muslim man at a Christian conference making a video in his car saying "be terrified" among other things. That's all he did so he wasn't arrested although I think anyone else would have been. OMG WOW GASP. A single man who identifies as Muslim proves your point that hundreds of millions of people around the world are dangerous, violently intolerant, and totalitarian. Wow. So impressed.
