Faith writes: edge writes: Faith, stories are not evidence. Could be. Depends on the story. But when it is a story from a known unreliable, often contradictory, often inaccurate and often known to be false source like the Bible it is not evidence for anything more than the fact that the story does say what it says. A great example is the Biblical flood myths where there are at least two mutually exclusive and contradictory fables as you have been shown repeatedly.

Faith writes: The Bible is accepted as the inerrant word of God by all the Christians I identify with. without contradiction and never false. Yes, we know you and many others hold that delusion however the reality is that once again your belief is simply fantasy. The fact is that there are two mutually exclusive creation myths each containing descriptions of entirely different gods; two mutually exclusive flood myths and a host of other false, just silly and also contradictory stories in the Bible. The Bible is certainly a best a very unreliable witness and one that when it comes to things like the flood or the fall or a young earth simply factually wrong. You are free to believe otherwise but what is written in the Bible shows you are wrong and simply creating your own fantasy.

Faith writes: You want to know where the sediments came from? They were washed off the land and churned up from the ocean, haven't I said that often enough?: And once again you provide evidence that Young Earth is simply as silly as the Biblical flood nonsense. To wash sediments off the land and churn up sediments from the ocean you first must make sediments. And we know how long it takes to make sediments so we can also know how long it had to take to make the sediments you claim your imaginary flood washed off the land and churned up from the ocean. And that comes to billions of years Faith. Young Earth and the Biblical flood are simply really stupid ideas that have been refuted for hundreds of years.

Faith writes: All your stuff is open to interpretation because there is no way to know for sure if the past was the same as the present, but the cross sections and the map are straightforward evidence that the Time Scale is a fiction. And once again, a few facts. Change leaves evidence. We can and do know what the past was like because the past left evidence. Lots of evidence. Overwhelming amounts of evidence. As you have been shown in post after post here at EvC for almost two decades now. The is absolutely no way to explain Oklo Nuclear Reactor in the Young Earth Fantasy. But again, there is absolutely no way to explain the geological layers by any flood fantasy either. Edited by jar, : fix time frame re Faith Edited by jar, : add link to Oklo yet again

Faith writes: I don't know, which I've said many times before. You are not alone Faith. Not one person who tries to support a Biblical flood has EVER been able to explain how a flood, even a magic flood could sort either the geology that exists in reality or the biological specimens that exist in reality or any other fact seem in reality. The Biblical Flood is as DOA as Young Earth or Creationism.

Faith writes: Steady heavy rain for forty days and nights ALL OVER THE WORLD? No. Don't post such utterly stupid comments Faith. Of course we can know how much erosion 40 days and 40 nights of rain would cause as any 10 year old could explain to you. We simply take a look and see what erosion is caused as a waterfall over a 40 day/40 night period. It really is that simple and yet another reason that the whole Biblical Flood nonsense is so totally ludicrous and not even up to sophomoric standards. The silly picayune floods described in the Bible are simply incapable of doing any of the things thinking people actually find in reality. There is simply no way, and you have never provided a model, method, mechanism or thingamabob to explain how the utterly stupid Biblical Flood could produce the evidence of Trilobites, Mountains and Marine Deposits or any of the thousands of other features that have been presented to you over almost two decades.

Faith writes: Once you've got water full of sediments rising over the land you've got the ingredients for the sorting into layers that we see. You can't debunk the Bible, it isn't going to happen. Utter nonsense. First the Bible debunks the Bible by including two different mutually exclusive flood myths all mushed up together. Second, a silly picayune flood alone cannot sort anything in the style actually found in reality. Sorry but it is simp

Faith writes: The "real world evidence" is completely misinterpreted by orthodox Science. In the end it will be found to be consistent with God's word. God's Word is the real world evidence not the perversion of the Bible that you try to market. God laughs at Young Earth Creationists and those who believe in the Biblical Flood. And God knows that the shells got into the mountain tops through natural processes over millions of years.
