Why Do People Steal?

If you steal a loaf of bread to avoid starvation, then today it is a crime.If I legally obtain all the bread and then allow you to starve, it is not a crime today.

If you run a red light on a deserted street corner at 3 am you are committing a crime.If you were seen you should be ticketed.

Red light, no cop in sight.Yup, that is a common justification.It is still a crime.

As I said back in Message 116 the reasons people steal are complex; they may believe it is a victimless crime, covered by insurance, that they deserve what is stolen, that it will never be noticed, that they have been deprived; they might even have a valid reason to steal; to save someones life, to save their own life.

I have no idea why they were brought up except that people seem to be trying to justify their behavior.It's certainly unrelated to the topic.

So the questions are, "Why are you a thief and why do you seem to want to brag about being a thief?"

Of course, what you call Leftist entitlement was what Jesus command us to do. It is also called compassion, empathy, charity, good manners, reasonableness, honesty; you know, feed the hungry, clothe the naked, heal the sick, shelter the homeless, protect the weak, teach the children. It's called Christianity.

There is nothing to explain. He already knows he is a Leftist Socialist Communist and that all the GOATS will be from those who are his followers.But the topic is "Why do people steal? One big reason is need. And Jesus told us that it was our duty to fill the needs.

Not very good, in fact pretty piss poor in all.For example many Christians oppose the things that really help people, things like welfare and Planned Parenthood and Scientific Research and Social Security and Single Payer Universal Health Care and allowing immigrants into our country and Foreign Aid.
